Sono lieta di presentare insieme ad e altri collaboratori

un concorso davvero interessante per tutti, ma proprio tutti quelli che hanno voglia di comunicare qualcosa, soprattutto senza parole.

Nasce Bolzano Comics, concorso internazionale di fumetti, dedicato, in questa prima edizione, alle sole produzioni senza parole, storie a fumetti ”mute”, comprensibili senza i classici “balloon” e, di conseguenza , internazionali nel senso vero e proprio del termine.

Il concorso nasce nell’ambito della manifestazione cinematografica Bolzano ShortFilmFestival (www.bolzanoshortfilmfestival.it), dedicata ai cortometraggi, evento che negli ultimi anni ha dedicato sempre maggiore spazio al mondo del fumetto e dell’animazione. Da questo l’esigenza di approfondire ulteriormente il legame, grazie ad una competizione ad hoc. La competizione è internazionale e vi possono partecipare artisti e non dai 14 anni in su, senza limite d'eta.

Termine consegna lavori: 15 Agosto 2009
I° premio: 500 Euro
II° premio: 200 Euro

I'm proud to present you with

Bolzano Comics, an international comic festival born in the alpine city of Bolzano (north Italy), and the contest that is part of it: Nowords Comics, which is dedicated to short, wordless comics that narrate without the use of the classic balloon, and are therefore international by their very nature.

The festival was born as part of the Bolzano ShortFilmFestival (www.bolzanoshortfilmfestival.it), an event which has seen, in the last years, a rising interest for animation and comics. Hence the need to strengthen the link between these worlds through an ad hoc contest.

The competition is open to comic artists of all nationalities and background from 14 years
old, without age limit.
No entry fee is required.

Submission deadline: August 15th 2009
First price: 500 Euro
Second price: 200 Euro
